The Half-Day Excursion

1_edited.jpg

The tour begins with pick-up from various meeting points (hotels, guesthouses, ferry terminal, tourist office, etc.). Aboard our new FORD RANGER, specially equipped for safari excursions, explore Tahiti from a unique perspective. The tour begins on the island's east coast, with its magnificent black sand beaches and famous surf spots, before entering the heart of Papenoo Valley, the largest valley in Tahiti.

This immersion in the heart of the island's lush nature will offer you the opportunity to discover its essence in an authentic and unique way.

The tour is narrated with stops at several remarkable sites, offering breathtaking landscapes all the way to the Caldera, an extinct volcanic crater that gave birth to Tahiti Nui. You will be amazed by the majestic waterfalls, verdant mountains, lush vegetation, and local flora and fauna. The guide will share fascinating stories about myths and legends, the marae, as well as the rich cultural and historical heritage of the island.

After this captivating discovery, you can recharge your batteries by swimming in the Vaituaru River, on the Pona Roa site, while tasting fresh local fruits, before getting back on the road to return to the starting point.

A mix of adventures and stories!

A superb half-day to discover the breathtaking landscapes of the island's interior...

Just to take in some more sights before we return to France.
A gentle walk (despite the roads) through lush vegetation to reach the start of the caldera crater, then a final swim in a river with a little legend of the place, told by our guide who is inexhaustible on the flowers, trees, stories and legends of Polynesia. A treat!
A must-do to get another look at Polynesia!
